Job Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, procedures, and functions in PostgreSQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage data ingestion, migration, and transformation workflows.
Support application development teams with database automation, tuning, and query optimization.
Create ETL pipelines using scripting (e.g., Python, Shell) and tools like Logstash.
Develop, test, and deploy AWS Lambda functions and data APIs as part of cloud-first initiatives.
Support production systems by troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues.
Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and release delivery.
Build visual dashboards using tools like Power BI for internal reporting and analytics use cases.
Required Skills & Experience:
7+ years of hands-on experience in SQL development and backend database management.
Strong expertise in PostgreSQL, Oracle 10g/11g, MS SQL Server, and PL/SQL.
Proficiency in Unix Shell Scripting and Python for automation and support tasks.
Knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, RDS, S3) and cloud-native application architecture.
Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Cassandra is a plus.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Jenkins, Git, and version control best practices.
Working knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Experience working in Agile environments and supporting production-grade systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
