Lead Software Engineer

Broadridge is growing! This Lead Software Engineer supports the design and maintenance of enterprise systems by preparing test data, analyzing results, troubleshooting problems and communicating issues back to development.

The DevOps approach to software development requires frequent, incremental changes to code versions, resulting in frequent deployment and testing regimens. Develops, monitors and maintain procedures and service level needs while providing user support. Automation engineers design, program, simulate and test automated machinery and processes in order to complete exact tasks.

  • May provide guidance to others as a project manager using technical expertise

  • Anticipates internal and or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommends process, product or service improvements

  • Contributes to the development of functional strategy

  • Leads project teams to achieve milestones and objectives

  • Progression to this level is typically restricted on the basis of business requirements

Qualifications

  • Requires understanding and application of procedures and concepts within own discipline and basic knowledge of other disciplines

  • Anticipates business and regulatory issues; recommends product, process or service improvements

  • Leads projects with notable risk and complexity; develops the strategy for project execution

  • Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business; requires conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions

  • Impacts the direction and resource allocation for program, project or services; works within general functional policies and industry guidelines

  • Communicates complex ideas, anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels, to adopt a different point of view

Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $170,000 - $180,000

Bonus Eligibility: Bonus Eligible
