The Lead Services Specialist - Resource Management will be responsible to oversee and optimize the deployment and career development of our Field Service Engineers workforce.

The Lead Resource Manager will manage both internal and contingent resources globally, align workforce strategy with business demand, and drive continuous development of our FSE pool, with a strong focus on performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

As Lead Services Specialist - Resource Management ,you will be responsible of:

Pool Management

  • Managing a global pool of FSE  (approx. 30 FSEs) aligning assignments with project requirements and productivity goals.
  • Maintaining and regularly update the Site Ops management main KPI such as: Utilization; Worked Hrs; Fatigue Policy; Team Certification; FFJ; HSE and NPS (FEPA)
  • Evaluating ongoing assignments to ensure alignment with strategy, quality, and cost targets.
  • Implementing and oversee development career paths for FSEs population, including training programs and mentorship initiatives in partnership with the GTS Training Academy.
  • Conducting regular performance reviews, career discussions, and skill gap analyses.
  • Encouraging multi-skill development and support upskilling initiatives, including certification achievements.
  • Operational Efficiency & Continuous Improvement
  • Driving Lean initiatives and efficiency programs through automation, tooling, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensuring effective onboarding processes for new hires and external suppliers

Workforce Planning & Assignment Oversight

  • Defining and executing resource strategies to optimize the mix of internal FSE and external contractors.
  • Ensuring accurate demand forecasting and capacity planning in collaboration with Business Units and the Demand & Capacity (D&C) team.
  • Leading the assignment of the FSEs based on skills, availability, rest requirements, and customer priorities.
  • Guarantee compliance with Fit For Job (FFJ) procedures and Fatigue Management policies

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Compliance

  • Acting as the primary point of contact between Assignment Specialists, Mobilization teams, Sourcing, and Business Units.
  • Overseeing accurate and timely updates in planning tools such as ServiceMax
  • Support T&E (Time & Expenses) management, ensuring policy adherence and user support.
  • Managing NPE (Nuovo Pignone Expat) Contracts and ensure quarterly reviews to support the accounting system.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or 5 years related site ops management experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in field operations, resource management, or a similar leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing large global teams and complex resource plans.
  • Strong understanding of service delivery operations, project management, and global mobility processes.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.

The duration of the work at site and the hours of work at the site will be in line with customer requirements. In between work assignments, you will have free time in line with Baker Hughes working time guidelines and fatigue management provisions.
