Job Summary
Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Lead Server Firmware Test & Automation Engineer to drive our server system validation. You will define testing strategies, build automated test architectures.
Key Responsibilities
Firmware Validation: Lead OpenBMC and proprietary BMC testing for complex server platforms.
Test Automation: Design and deploy scalable automation frameworks (Robot Framework, pytest, Python) to maximize test coverage.
Strategy & Execution: Define validation strategies, test plans, and test cases for Redfish, IPMI, and WebUI.
CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated testing into DevOps workflows (GitLab CI/CD, Jira, Azure ADO).
Required Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years in Server System Testing, focused on BMC Firmware Validation.
Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of BMC architectures (OpenBMC, SPX), Redfish, and IPMI standards.
Programming: Highly proficient in Python, Shell scripting, and automation tools (Robot Framework, pytest).
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven track record of building and managing high-performing firmware QA teams.
Demonstrated success in significantly scaling test automation coverage
