Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as onsite. this means the successful candidate to report to the GM office full time.
The Role
Managing supply planning, material planning, launch readiness, and associated supply chain specialists.
What You'll Do:
Lead, mentor, develop a team who is responsible for Material supply planning from Local / Overseas suppliers. for optimal performance, providing guidance on MRP processes and best practices.
Maintain and enhance MRP system (SAP) for efficient material and inventory management.
Manage relationships with more than 100 suppliers (Local / Overseas), ensuring they have efficient planning and forecasting processes to maintain smooth flow of materials to our production.
Identifying and mitigating risks arises with our supply chain.
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns.
Develop and implement strategies for inventory optimization and control.
Minimize excess or obsolete inventory while preventing shortages
Track & report SC performance scorecards to leadership and global team.
Lead downtime investigation, analysis, and reporting for Material shortfall maintain preventive actions in place with the team to support smooth Material flow.
Track supplier capacity to improve and develop supporting smooth material flow as per Min. and Max.
Improve and automate business & GMS systems for SC pillars (Short Leadtime).
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualification)
Educational and Experience Background:
Bachelor’s degree in, Supply chain management, Business or Engineering.
+5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management & People leader.
Competencies:
Strong cross-functional collaboration among organization functions.
Clear and effective communication of information upward and downward.
Ability to influence and drive changes without direct authority especially with suppliers.
Skilled in facilitating problem-solving and improvement discussions.
Coaching mindset.
Resilience.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
