As a Lead Sales Specialist 2 - Technical Sales, you will be responsible for driving sales and market share growth for GE HealthCare's advanced medical equipment and solutions within your assigned territory. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong sales acumen to deliver exceptional value to our customers in the healthcare sector.
Job Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets and market share objectives for GE HealthCare products and services.
* Act as a technical expert, providing in-depth product demonstrations, clinical application support, and competitive analysis to healthcare professionals, including physicians, technicians, and hospital administrators.
* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key opinion leaders, decision-makers, and purchasing departments within target accounts.
* Identify and qualify new sales opportunities, managing the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, clinical applications, service, and finance, to ensure seamless customer experience and project implementation.
* Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management, and market feedback to regional and national sales leadership.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments to effectively position GE HealthCare solutions.
* Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events to promote GE HealthCare's brand and offerings.
* Adhere to all GE HealthCare compliance and regulatory guidelines.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or scientific field (e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Medical Physics, or a clinical discipline).
* Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in technical sales within the medical device or healthcare industry, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
* Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of medical equipment and/or clinical applications relevant to GE HealthCare's portfolio (e.g., Diagnostic Imaging focusing on Image Guidance Teraphy) .
* Strong understanding of the Brazilian healthcare market, including purchasing processes, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in both Portuguese and English (written and verbal).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce.com) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
* Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels.
