LEAD RESEARCH ASSOCIATE (100% Remote outside of Canada)

OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Lead Research Associate to join our team on a full-time basis.  This is a fully remote position, and the successful individual could be based anywhere in the world. You will work with an amazing remote team servicing and building relationships with clients primarily based in the US and Canada.  As a Lead Research Associate, you will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and qualifying leads to ensure our sales team has a strong, targeted pipeline. This role requires expertise in lead sources, qualification criteria, and lead management processes. Your work directly impacts demo bookings, conversions, and overall sales efficiency. In collaboration with the Lead Research department, the Lead Research Associate is responsible for the success of Wishpond Technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Research, identify, and source leads from multiple channels and platforms (Builtwith, Storeleads, LinkedIn, industry databases, CRM, etc.).
• Qualify leads according to defined criteria to ensure high-quality prospects for the sales team.
• Maintain organized and accurate lead lists and CRM records.
• Collaborate with the Email Deliverability and Marketing departments to refine lead qualification processes and targeting strategies.
• Analyze lead sources and data to continuously improve lead quality and efficiency.
• Support Email Deliverability Specialists, SDRs and Account Executives by delivering actionable leads for outreach campaigns.
• Ensure adherence to lead generation best practices, data privacy, and compliance standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Proven experience in lead research, lead generation, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of lead sources, qualification processes, and data management.
• Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Experience using CRM systems, sales intelligence tools, and databases.
• Analytical mindset to evaluate lead quality and optimize sourcing strategies.
• Self-motivated, process-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with email deliverability and marketing teams.
• As part of a diverse team, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Must be Tech-savvy and administratively strong.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• This is a 100% remote position, and the individual could be based anywhere in the world
• The individual must be prepared to work standard business hours based on the Pacific Time Zone
• Due to the nature of this role, we may verify backgrounds, including conducting employment references, criminal records, and credit checks
Once hired, the successful candidate must provide a valid government-issued photo ID and proof of residential address as part of their onboarding process.
