- Acting as the primary point of contact for Quest Design within the project, communicating status, risks, and needs to senior leadership.
- Collaborating with our Quest and Narrative Designers and Engineers to further develop the pipelines and processes of the Quest Design team.
- Designing and implementing functional quests and becoming proficient in using our tools
- Help express the story vision via excellent exploration, dialogue, gameplay, and activities.
- Providing constructive feedback on others’ work
- Acting as a liaison to other departments, conveying the consistent design vision of the project
- Providing regular feedback, coaching, and performance management for quest designers.
You’re awesome because you have…

- Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, set priorities, and deliver against defined production timelines.
- Experience with technical game design (implementation in tools, game logic, visual scripting, etc.)
- Ability to collaborate and thrive as part of a creative team and comfortable with self-critique and accepting outside feedback
- Creativity in problem solving with a mindful approach to putting the team first
- Experience pitching game design concepts in a clear, detailed manner, through strong written and verbal skills
- Strong organizational skills and a proven track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to provide clear, actionable feedback and support team growth and development.
- Habit of regularly playing and understanding modern video games and a voracious appetite for consuming genre films, television, games, or books
Bonus points for…
