OneMain Financial

Lead Product Manager - Enterprise Communications Platform

Baltimore, MD Full time

Lead Digital Product Manager: Customer Messaging Platform

At OneMain, clear, timely, and responsible communication is essential to building trust with our customers. Our enterprise messaging platform supports millions of interactions each year across email, two-way text messaging, and push notifications.

As we modernize our digital ecosystem, we are centralizing and evolving these capabilities to enable connected, multi-channel communications across multiple lines of business and customer touchpoints.

As a Digital Product Manager, you will own the product lifecycle for the platforms that power these communications, including Adobe Campaign and

Adobe Journey Optimizer. You will define the roadmap, align cross-functional teams, and deliver scalable platform capabilities that enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency across the enterprise.

Partnering closely with engineering teams, you will shape how key messaging capabilities connect across systems—including customer notifications, payment reminders, credit card alerts, and interaction history. You will help define how customer actions trigger communications and how information flows between systems so each interaction reflects the customer’s most recent activity.

You will also champion the adoption and effective use of Adobe Campaign and Adobe Journey Optimizer, helping teams across the organization leverage these platforms to deliver consistent, scalable, and compliant customer communications.

This role focuses on strengthening the platforms that power enterprise messaging at scale, rather than managing marketing campaigns or message content.

In This Role You Will:

  • Own the multi-year product roadmap and platform enhancement backlog for Adobe Campaign and Adobe Journey Optimizer

  • Drive the evolution from traditional batch messaging toward connected, multi-step customer communications

  • Deliver scalable capabilities that support multiple lines of business across the enterprise

  • Partner with Data Engineering to define event triggers, data structures, and technical requirements that support personalized communications

  • Establish communication standards including reusable templates, fatigue rules, and cross-channel frequency management

  • Ensure communications align with regulatory and privacy requirements in partnership with Compliance and Legal teams

  • Lead quarterly planning, backlog refinement, and cross-functional delivery with Engineering, Marketing, Data, and Operations teams

  • Monitor platform performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency

  • Serve as the primary liaison for Adobe partnership discussions and track upcoming product releases

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field

  • Five or more years of experience in digital product management, marketing technology platforms, or customer experience technology

  • Experience working with Adobe Campaign, Adobe Journey Optimizer, or similar enterprise communications platforms

  • Experience managing digital platforms used across multiple business teams

  • Strong understanding of data-driven communications and event-triggered engagement

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, marketing, data, and business teams

  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable platform capabilities

Preferred:

  • Background in digital product or technical product roles supporting customer engagement, marketing technology, or messaging platforms

  • Familiarity working in organizations where shared platforms support multiple lines of business

  • Comfortable partnering with engineering teams to define platform capabilities, integrations, and data flows without requiring hands-on software development

  • Understanding of how technology enables customer engagement and data-driven communications, with an appreciation for marketing outcomes

  • Exposure to regulated industries such as financial services
