As a Lead Product Development Project Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams of purchasing professionals—including buyers and supplier quality engineers—to ensure your project’s purchasing milestones are achieved at every stage. You’ll be responsible for all procurement-related activities across your assigned projects, including supplier sourcing, cost management, scheduling, and quality assurance. Through strategic planning, proactive risk mitigation, and effective escalation, you will help drive successful product development and strengthen supply resiliency throughout the product lifecycle.

In this role within the Supply Network Resiliency & Project Management Department, you’ll collaborate closely with Supply Network Resiliency partners to ensure full readiness for product launches—ultimately supporting on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

Reports to: Head of Project Management, Purchasing Vehicle North America

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly preferred
  • Experience in the truck or automotive industry
  • Minimum 5 years in purchasing, procurement, manufacturing, or product development
  • 7–10 years of proven project management experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Core Project Management Expertise

Salary Range: $75,000-82,000

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
