Kensho is S&P Global’s hub for AI innovation and transformation. With expertise in machine learning, natural language processing, and data discovery, we develop and deploy novel solutions to innovate and drive progress at S&P Global and its customers worldwide. Kensho's solutions and research focus on business and financial generative AI applications, agents, data retrieval APIs, data extraction, and much more.
At Kensho, we hire talented people and give them the autonomy and support needed to build amazing technology and products. We collaborate using our teammates' diverse perspectives to solve hard problems. Our communication with one another is open, honest, and efficient. We dedicate time and resources to explore new ideas, but always rooted in engineering best practices. As a result, we can innovate rapidly to produce technology that is scalable, robust, and useful.
We’re looking for a Lead Designer who’s excited to shape the future of our product and help define what great looks like at scale. You’ll take the reins on design for one of our key product streams — setting the vision, refining the craft, and helping our teams deliver thoughtful, high-impact experiences. We’re not just refining existing interfaces — we’re designing entirely new ways for humans to collaborate with AI. We’re looking for someone who’s eager to explore uncharted territory and turn bold ideas into intuitive experiences.
You’ll partner closely with product and engineering to bring clarity to complex problems, translate big ideas into simple, beautiful interfaces, and ensure design has a strong voice in shaping our roadmap. You’ll also mentor other designers and help grow our design culture from the inside out.
We’re looking for someone who is a confident presenter, loves experimentation, and is a proactive and collaborative team player. If you’re someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, loves balancing systems thinking with hands-on design, and cares deeply about creating meaningful experiences — this role is for you.
