What You Will Achieve

Serve as shift lead or lead technician in area. Responsible for prioritizing, schedule management, assigning work tasks as needed throughout the day, coaching Attendants, Sr. Attendants, Technicians. Coordinates between other Support teams including Compounding/Dispensing, Lyophilization, Component and Equipment Prep, and Filling teams. Takes the lead on supporting/facilitating OJT (On-the-Job-Training) process signoffs for new and existing colleagues and contractors. While performing all tasks in a safe manner.

In this role you will:

  • If Group Leader/APL is not available or area does not have this role, serves as point of contact for questions and guidance for area of operations.

  • Able to do and train on duties that are part of Attendant, Sr. Attendant, Technician roles.

  • Support and provide feedback to new and existing colleagues and contractors on requirements for work area.

  • Under the guidance of management, must be able to step in intermittently for Group Leader or APL to meet operational goals.

  • Support SAP transactions as needed for area of operation.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in room procedures and operations.

  • Maintain proper documentation – batch records, check sheets, logbooks, P-logs, Enablon safety checks.

  • Aware of and responsive to environmental trends in areas.

  • Stay current with training requirements and follow SOPs, cGMPs, batch records, TCPs, BOMs and POPs.

  • Communicate openly and clearly with line personnel and supervision to accomplish manufacturing goals.

  • Promote a positive team environment.

  • Responsible for escalating personnel behavior and performance concerns to supervisor.

  • Notify Supervisor of all safety issues.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

  • A minimum 2 years in a Pfizer Sr. Pharmaceutical Attendant, Pharmaceutical Technician, or equivalent role.

  • Completed or willing to complete Certified Trainer course.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively (written and verbally) with line personnel to meet operational and training goals.

  • Work well interdepartmentally, as well as, with all plant departments.

  • Must be capable of performing data entry into calculators and computers.

  • Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and have a problem-solving mindset.

  • Must work to a certain degree, independently with limited supervision.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to lift 10-20 lbs. frequently and up to 45 lbs. sporadically, including lifting above shoulders.

  • Must be able to withstand exposure to inks, solvents, heat, steam and liquids.

  • Walk and stand for up to 8 to 12 hours depending on assigned area.

  • Vision must be correctable to 20/20.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Shifts Rotating 12 hours day, Rotating 12 hours nights, 12 hours day, vary Mon-Fri., or 12 hours nights, vary Mon-Fri.

  • Able to work rotating shifts, holidays, nights and weekends as required

  • ​Must be able to gown according to the area requirements – aseptic (Grad A/B) or controlled (Grade C/D) and retain certification.
