A Brief Overview
The Lead Oracle Fusion OTBI Report Developer will drive enterprise reporting initiatives to support Finance and Operations, ensuring seamless and reliable analytics. This position will build and maintain native Oracle Fusion reports, leveraging deep accounting and finance expertise to deliver accurate, audit-ready financial insights and compliance reporting. The expected result is robust, secure reporting solutions that enable informed decision-making and operational efficiency across the organization.

What you will do

  • Architect and optimize complex Oracle Fusion native reports and OTBI dashboards, applying advanced knowledge of financial reporting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Facilitate alignment between technical capabilities and financial objectives, including budgeting, forecasting, and audit readiness.
  • Own the end-to-end reporting life cycle, including requirements elicitation, prototyping, performance tuning, deployment, and iterative enhancements.
  • Champion best practices in Oracle meta data management, data lineage, and reconciliation processes.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex reporting issues related to data integrity, security, and performance. Collaborate with data governance and infrastructure teams to ensure robust access controls and audit trails.
  • Ensure reporting accuracy, usability, and alignment with regulatory requirements and KPIs by applying deep expertise in accounting principles, chart of accounts structures, sub ledger accounting, and financial consolidations.
  • Manage and prioritize reporting change requests and incidents through structured governance processes. Coordinate with finance, IT, and compliance teams to validate impact and ensure timely resolution.
  • Mentor and up skill internal teams through structured knowledge transfer, documentation, and training programs. Promote Oracle reporting self-service analytics and empower business users with curated reporting assets.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and version control for all reporting artifacts, including functional specifications, technical designs, and change logs. Ensure traceability and auditability across reporting environments.

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, analytics, finance or related field Preferred


Experience Qualifications

  • 7-9 years experience with enterprise-grade ERP reporting and systems Required


Skills and Abilities

  • Proven experience with Oracle Fusion Applications and OTBI reporting spanning all key financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM) (High proficiency)
  • Experience building financial close, audit, compliance, and reconciliation reporting on end-to-end finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C, A2R). (High proficiency)
  • Evidence of professional accounting certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CMA (Certified Management Accountant), or equivalent international credentials (e.g., Chartered Accountant - CA Inter) (Medium proficiency)
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in Finance, IT, and Analytics (Medium proficiency)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with stakeholders (Medium proficiency)
  • Experience with post–go-live support, data migration, and validation (Medium proficiency)
  • Experience with ERP role-based security and compliance for financial data (Medium proficiency)
  • Familiarity with change management processes and ticketing tools such as ServiceNow (Medium proficiency)
