JOB SUMMARY
As a key member of the Commercial Product Marketing and Field Readiness Team, the Lead Marketing Consultant plays an essential role in executing how KeyBank Commercial brings its lending and payments solutions to market—and how our field teams are equipped to deliver them effectively. This role partners closely with Product, Business Development (BD), and Corporate Center Marketing to implement go-to-market strategies, develop product positioning, and create enablement tools that empower relationship teams to deliver client value and deepen relationships.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role requires someone who can take ownership and deliver flawlessly on commitments—while demonstrating accountability for outcomes and proactive communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Field Readiness & Enablement:
Create and maintain scalable enablement tools—pitch decks, sell sheets, videos, quick reference guides, talking points, and “meeting-in-a-box” toolkits. Coordinate logistics and deliver product training programs to ensure field teams are equipped to identify opportunities and articulate value.
  • Project Management & Accountability:
Manage marketing projects from beginning to end, working cross functionally to include ideation, design, execution, approval, promotion and performance. Maintain clear documentation, track progress, and proactively communicate status updates. Own commitments end-to-end and take responsibility for delivering results without escalation. Managing a content calendar and scheduling appropriate timelines and deadlines.
  • Marketing Collaboration:
Work with Corporate Center Marketing to support multi-channel campaigns (paid, earned, social, owned) that drive brand awareness and client engagement.
  • Market Insights & Reporting:
Compile market research, client feedback, and performance metrics to inform product positioning and optimize go-to-market strategies.
