The Role: Lead, Marketing Analytics

Gemini is looking for an experienced Marketing Analytics leader to join our marketing team. This role would be responsible for implementing measurement and attribution strategies, analyzing marketing campaign performance, and delivering insights and recommendations around business growth drivers. We are looking for a manager to partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Marketing to drive acquisition and customer value growth for the business.

This role is required to be in person twice a week at our New York City, NY office.

Responsibilities:

  • Budget Management:
    • Analyze performance & brand marketing spend and data to identify gaps and opportunities for KPI improvement (acquisition, CACs, brand awareness, LTV, etc.)
    • Measure app and/or web marketing performance, with fluency in core growth metrics
  • Attribution:
    • Understand tracking and pixel implementation with a focus on iOS including implementing Google and Meta conversion APIs
    • Design and build automated reporting for channels and campaigns to support ongoing performance reviews and executive visibility
  • Growth Data:
    • Proactively identify performance trends and growth opportunities by analyzing channel, campaign, and funnel data
    • Analyze data to develop essential dashboards, reports, and tools informing customer engagement and retention strategies
    • Identify trends and patterns in datasets to attribute key business drivers and define performance metrics
    • Tell a clear story with data by connecting insights to concrete actions and recommendations

Qualifications:

  • You have spent 5-8+ years in marketing analytics focused on instrumenting, understanding and analyzing marketing performance
  • Hands on experience with analytics tools including Google Analytics, AppsFlyer, MixPanel, and Looker
  • You are an expert in SQL and have deep experience with Excel
  • Experience leveraging AI platforms to streamline workflows & efficiencies
  • You are fluent in event and cookie tracking methodologies, and can work directly with engineers to validate and debug tracking issues
  • Bachelor degree preferred

Salary Range: The base salary range for this role is between $129,500 - $185,000 in the State of New York, the State of California and the State of Washington. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.

In the United States, we offer a hybrid work approach at our hub offices, balancing the benefits of in-person collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. Expectations may vary by location and role, so candidates are encouraged to connect with their recruiter to learn more about the specific policy for the role. Employees who do not live near one of our hubs are part of our remote workforce.
