Lead and prioritize all operational functions during assigned shifts to ensure execution of daily plans with high productivity, quality, and safety outcomes.
Troubleshoot and resolve operational disruptions by coordinating with union labor, execution managers, asset maintenance, IT, automation, and suppliers.
Manage system-related issues, validate logging errors, and conduct on‑the‑spot root cause analysis to keep operations running smoothly.
Oversee workforce and equipment allocation across operational departments to ensure effective resource utilization.
Supervise TOB personnel, provide performance feedback, and support training, coaching, and development initiatives.
Support process improvement and problem‑solving efforts using Lean techniques such as A3s, cause analysis, and performance control checks.
Consolidate shift data into clear operational summaries and briefings for leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders.

Additional Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, maritime/port management, or a related field; or equivalent experience (5+ years in container terminal operations).
Minimum 2 years of experience in a terminal control room, TIS environment, or similar operational coordination function.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, set short‑term operational plans, communicate expectations, and maintain performance standards.
Strong collaboration capabilities with cross‑functional teams including maintenance, IT, union labor, and external vendors.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions, navigate operational escalation points, and manage time‑sensitive decisions during high‑pressure scenarios
Salary: $130K - $160K
Shift Schedule: Rotating Days/Nights/Weekends
