Job Title: Lead Java Full Stack Developer

Location: Omaha, NE (Onsite - 5 Days a Week)

We are seeking an experienced Lead Java Full Stack Developer with15+ years’ experience to join our team in Omaha, NE. This role is ideal for a highly skilled technical leader with deep expertise in Java full stack development, NoSQL platforms, search technologies, and enterprise-scale distributed systems.

The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience in Core Java/J2EE, modern backend frameworks, frontend development, messaging platforms, and enterprise caching technologies. This person will also play a key leadership role in code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring high-quality, zero-defect production deliverables.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java 8/17Spring Boot, and Angular.
  • Build and enhance robust backend services and REST APIs.
  • Contribute to frontend development for responsive and maintainable user interfaces.
  • Provide deep technical support and engineering expertise for OpenSearchSolr, and Coherence platforms.
  • Manage and optimize NoSQL and distributed data solutions for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues and drive root cause analysis for complex production problems.
  • Develop solutions using Apache SparkKafka, and enterprise caches such as CoherenceApache Ignite, or Redis.
  • Integrate applications with cloud SDKs including AWS SDK and Azure SDK.
  • Operate effectively in Linux environments for deployment, debugging, and support.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in design, coding, testing, and documentation.
  • Mentor junior developers and guide the team toward high-quality technical delivery.
  • Promote a strong engineering culture focused on first-time-right execution and zero defects in production.
  • Work closely with architects, product owners, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to planning, estimation, and delivery.
  • Communicate technical solutions and risks clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong expertise in Core Java / J2EE fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience with Java 8/17
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot
  • Experience in Angular
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs
    • Deep experience supporting platform NoSQL products such as: Coherence, OpenSearch, Solr
    • Hands-on experience with enterprise cache technologies such as: Coherence, Apache Ignite, Redis
  • Strong NoSQL database management skills
  • Experience with Apache Spark
  • Experience with messaging services such as Kafka
  • Intermediate experience with Linux
  • Basic experience with AWS SDK
  • Basic experience with Azure SDK
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and mentor junior developers
  • Strong experience performing code reviews
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

The base salary range for this position is $ 106,087 to 109,250 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays.
