Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of technology for Bupa’s footprint expansion portfolio, including acquisitions and new builds.
  • Manage a squad of around 12 specialists (delivery leads, tech leads, analysts, data and security experts).
  • Oversee integration of acquired hospitals and clinics, ensuring systems and processes align with Bupa standards.
  • Create and manage business cases, budgets, and prioritisation across multiple initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align technology strategy with business goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation, ensuring secure, efficient, and customer-focused solutions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in IT delivery or programme management within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to engage senior stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of technology and healthcare operations (hospital or care services experience is a plus).
  • Ability to prioritise and manage resources across multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience delivering transformation programmes.
  • High emotional intelligence, problem-solving ability, and adaptability.
