Job Summary: This position is located at USAG Rheinland-Pfalz - MWR, Marketing Office. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

Major Duties:

  • Works under the general supervision of Marketing Division/Branch Chief(s).
  • Ensures creative services staff have a clear vision of the division, branch and organization goals and direction.
  • As a multimedia specialist, provides graphics and multimedia technical support to assist in developing, coordinating and implementing a comprehensive graphic design package for external and internal customers
  • Keeps abreast of latest technology and applies the knowledge to the design and development of web publishing, visual information products, and print products.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. Demonstrated graphic design experienced including developing layout, using industry specific software to produce and promote ideas, services and products. 2. Extensive knowledge of a wide range of concepts, principles and practices in Visual Information Production Operations and skill in applying this knowledge to communicate complex themes through visual materials and lead the development of concepts / ideas for marketing and print to meet client objectives. 3. Progressive work experience in graphics design or education with a major study in graphic design, commercial art, fine arts, art history, photography, visual communication, or other fields related to this position. 4. Must have knowledge of printing, electronic publishing, illustration, and photographic techniques, theories, and practices. 5. Must be able to communicate orally and in writing and be skilled in interpersonal relations. 6. Demonstrated experience directing the flow of a department or team to ensure completion of long-and/or short-term projects. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": 1. Minimum six years' experience in graphic design with at least three years design agency and / marketing office experience. Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. 2.Proficient with industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and interactive media platforms. 3. Proven ability to lead creative teams, manage production timelines, assign tasks, and deliver high-quality multimedia assets across multiple projects.
