Job Purpose

As our Lead Insights & CRO, you will sit at the intersection of data analytics, user experience, and business strategy. You aren’t just looking at what happened; you’re defining what happens next. You understand the full funnel and your goal is to maximize customer lifetime value through insights. You will define data driven tangible improvements for our website & app, whether it’s based on raw data or clear outcomes of our high velocity experimentation engine. 

Core tasks and responsibilities

  • Lead the team of 3-4 specialists with high visibility, (commercial) impact and fostering a collaborative culture by nurturing the technical and professional growth of the data analysts 
  • Partner with commercial and product teams democratizing data and pro-actively support them in further optimisation to attract, convert, retain and maximize the value of existing customers - 
  • Serve as the point of contact for the delivery of analytics and insights, the development of dashboards and detailed analysis of customer behavior with recommendations for optimization
  • Analyze the full user journey to identify friction points; you’ll define hands-on improvements to our flow to drive immediate margin uplift
  • Able to interpret and translate qualitative research (surveys, UX research) to understand the "why" behind the "what."
  • Move beyond descriptive reporting into predictive analytics, utilizing machine learning to improve our funnel and Customer Lifetime Value (CLV).
  • Own the end-to-end experimentation (A/B testing) roadmap; you’ll lead the process of hypothesis - execution - evaluation - implementation
  • Build and manage a "best-in-class" CRO stack, including test libraries and tracking tools, with a long-term view toward expanding the team

What you bring to the table

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a similar job in an highly competitive ecommerce environment
  • Able to lead your team in an empathetic way in their professional and personal development
  • You are in close contact with the business and you are able to deliver stories that trigger action.
  • Translating complex data into clear recommendations and predictions that focus on increasing customer satisfaction, conversion and margin
  • Experience with setting up and leading high velocity experimentation programs
  • Deep understanding of UX principles and onsite personalization.
  • Strong knowledge skills in data analysis, data visualization, experimentation methodologies  and interest in data science methods and you have experience with data analysis tools and languages like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Big Query, Optimizely, UMM’s and SQL
