Position Summary: Support Team Member Experience (TMX) programs and processes to support achievement of KPI’s such as team member engagement, turnover, and retention.  Lead HR initiatives and provide support for the facility leadership team with a focus on relationship development and informal influence across the facility. 

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Support key plant leadership (GM, PM) to drive engagement, retention and development of a culture of recognition and inclusion across the facility.
  • Support facility management team to ensure compliance, positive employee relations, performance and talent development.
  • Lead the HR function for the facility in alignment with home office strategy; coach and develop HR team.
  • Implement & communicate HR policies and standard operating procedures.  Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Lead HR programs for employee relations, investigations, facility HRIS, payroll, benefits & compensation, recruitment & onboarding and training & development programs.
  • Understand HR data for analysis, review, and countermeasure development to support KPI progress. 
  • Support the leadership team to develop the facility vision for World Class Team Member Experience; facilitate goal setting and action planning to prioritize and align HR programs with vision.
  • Facilitate all OD related programs such as Survey Review and Action Planning, Leadership Development programs, etc.
  • Train and coach facility leaders on how to set clear expectations, establish praise & recognition and confront non-performance for team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; HR certification preferred
  • 4+ years of progressive HR experience, leadership experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of HR (Employee Relations, Recruitment, Comp & Ben, Training & Development)
  • Ability to influence and coach leaders
  • Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Experience with HR Payroll/ Timekeeping systems
  • Microsoft Word and Excel experience
  • Trustworthy – capable of handling and maintaining highly confidential information
  • Able to adhere to tight deadlines
