As a Lead Specialist EHS, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing general health & safety advice and support for multiple sites or a region.

  • Advising Functional managers regarding projects, processes and procedures in the own field.
  • Collaborating with the site operations leadership team to drive and promote a site HSE culture, including leading monthly HSE Meetings, drive HSE Observation reporting, lead/participate in HSE incidents/near-miss investigations and steward corrective actions to closure
  • Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.
  • Implementing Baker Hughes HSE programs and procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations.
  • Promoting interdependent HSE culture among leadership team and employees.
  • Conducting Regular Risk Assessment to comply with legal requirements related to safety and health.
  • Managing risks at site, eliminate/ minimize the risks and hazards by effective measurements.
  • Managing Emergency Response Plan. Ensure all resources are well prepared. Organize emergency drills for various scenarios, such as spill, fire evacuation.
  • Driving overall site HSE Performance metrics and perform periodic trends and analyses to identify improvement opportunities

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (professional certifications such as NEBOSH or  Have a degree in Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental Science, are preferred)
  • Have a minimum 10+ years of HSE experience (Oil & Gas industry experience is required)
  • Be fluent in English and Turkish
  • Have strong oral and written communication skills

  • Have strong problem solving skills

  • Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
