Lead - Global Intelligent Automation Empowerment

Huntsman is seeking a Lead - Global Intelligent Automation Empowerment supporting the GBS organization located in San Jose, Costa Rica. This position will report to the Global Business Services (GBS) Senior Transformation Manager.

Job Scope

The Global Lead for Intelligent Automation Empowerment Program is responsible for designing and driving multiple programs and initiatives centered around upskilling our Huntsman employees. The programs are geared towards various methods of teaching team members how to leverage technology to improve the work that we do. The programs involve everything from group share sessions to technology specific academies.

The primary measure for success in this role is the advancement of digital use in driving efficiency, experience, and effectiveness. The Global Lead for Intelligent Automation Empowerment Program will work closely with other members of the Automation and Analytics team, along with experts in other groups, to include Global Reporting and Analysis, to define and deliver empowerment initiatives through an annual plan.

In addition, in this role, the Global Lead will be responsible for hosting executive townhall share sessions, communities of practice, and facilitating the GBS Hub Digital Champions program. This role is a core part of the GBS organization’s push to leverage technology across the services we provide.

In summary, as the Lead - Global Intelligent Automation Empowerment, you will:

Citizen Empowerment Program

  • Design, implement, and scale the Citizen Empowerment Program.

  • Drive 1-to-1 Mentorship Program for citizen creators.

  • Drive Digital Academies across our solution platforms.

  • Setup and run Community of Practice (CoP) sessions focusing on a specific topic and success stories.

  • Ensure running of Digital Champion Program to upskill and empower advanced users through cross-functional sessions and at the GBS hubs.

  • Organize Automation Day or other programs to elevate digital transformation awareness.

  • Deliver full-cycle training for Power Automate and Power Apps (may involve topic specific trainers as required).

  • Drive other Digital Academy frameworks (how to execute, not responsible for delivery) e.g., IBM PA, Process Mining, Power BI, Advanced Analytics & HSIMS.

  • Facilitate communication of third-party training opportunities across our software vendor community (Alteryx, Automation Anywhere, Power Tools).

  • Maintain the Digital Community Site, ensuring it houses comprehensive resources such as document libraries, event calendars, academy details, and more.

Support Automation Program & Governance

  • Develop annual empowerment program roadmap working with GBS leadership.

  • Develop execution plans aimed at delivering key activities within the approved roadmap.

  • Support monthly update reporting on initiative progress, to include calling out roadblocks, issues, risks, and other key dependencies.

  • Track and report on key execution measures as agreed with GBS leadership.

  • Connect with automation resource at the Hub to partners and drive automation support.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in Costa Rica.


Candidates must be willing to work on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at our office located in AFZ, Heredia. Additional office days may be required as needed or during corporate visits.

Minimum Qualifications

Education required

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance / computer science / IT or equivalent.

Experience

  • Minimum 5–8+ years of relevant experience.
