Demonstrates the strong FP&A attributes like financial data Analytics, business Acumen and consultation, planning, budget and forecast skills, financial prudence, SBTN and Variance analysis, to drive the better business outcome and financial reporting. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Commercial Org OPEX Financial planning and forecasting
  • Annual Budget planning including O&O and upload in SACP
  • Lead monthly forecast reviews and upload in SACP
  • Month end spend variance analysis (Budget vs Actual/Flash vs Actual/Expected exit vs Actual)
  • Story behind the numbers
  • Maintaining Master Data (Enable MRU/Sub MRU creation, Cost Pool creation, Cost center creation)
  • Business level spend allocation, Segment level analysis and handling GBU queries
  • Project Management and process improvements
  • Automation Knowledge (SQL Python, PowerBI, power query, VBA)
  • Excellent system knowledge in SACP, S4, Webi
  • Ensuring data accuracy and compliance
  • Understand OPEX impact to overall CO level and P&L
  • Provide finance consulting where needed
  • Lead, design, and improve financial analysis to drive better business and financial results
  • Drive process improvement and provide Project management support for special initiatives.
  • Provides expertise and advice on controls, budgeting, planning, ROI decisions, and the formulation of comprehensive business plans and strategies.
  • Ability to influence and build partnerships across functions
  • Consults with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope.
  • Represents the business unit during cross-regional or cross- functional planning processes.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Graduate degree/First level university degree in Business Administration or economics, Finance, advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CA, CPA, MBA) preferred.
  • Typically, 8+ years of experience as a financial analyst in a multiple finance functions, especially FP&A, financial management, BU/market finance, and/or project experience

  • Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis, with advanced knowledge in one area.
