The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Lead Finance Systems Analyst to join the enterprise-level finance Procure to Pay (P2P) systems sustainment, integration, and analytics efforts within Finance Systems and Analytics (FS&A) in Tukwila, WA or Hazelwood, MO

This role partners with finance stakeholders, IT (Information Technology), and cross-functional teams to architect, test, and support finance solutions across the finance landscape. The selected candidate will become part of a team at the forefront of systems change at Boeing, driving transformation of finance platforms, modern architecture, and best-in-class practices across the enterprise.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Own sustainment and integration for core finance P2P and treasury systems – with special emphasis on System Applications and Products (SAP) in Data Processing S/4 Hana systems (end-state)

  • Lead enterprise change efforts to define business information requirements, policies, and data linkages for finance P2P systems

  • Support enterprise-level system change and integration projects (SAP Implantations), by ensuring smooth transition to sustaining partnership with Future Systems

  • Conduct regular tag-ups with business stakeholders to review P2P system status, prioritize requests, surface risks, and ensure alignment between finance needs and delivery timelines

  • Manage and improve enterprise-level invoicing and payment processes including Legacy and Future system invoice processing to reduce exceptions and payment failures

  • Lead Program Increment (PI) planning and Long Range Business Planning (LRBP) system readiness activities to align solution delivery with finance IT strategy

  • Manage P2P system regression testing, system readiness, user acceptance testing, and validate releases

  • Coordinate and manage engagements with third-party IT consultants, ensuring alignment of deliverables, timelines, and technical requirements with Finance P2P systems objectives and governance

  • Perform advanced root cause analysis for system incidents and defects; design and drive remediation plans with IT and business owners

  • Provide end-user support, training materials, process documentation and act as a primary escalation for complex system/data issues

  • Provide system support for quarterly and year-end financial close cycles by ensuring application availability, resolving system issues, and delivering timely technical guidance to finance users and teams

  • Translate technical implications into clear business impact for finance leadership and deliver compelling, evidence-based recommendations

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or related field

  • 5+ years of experience with financial/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, with a focus on Procure-to-pay (P2P) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes

  • Experience leading system testing (regression, integration, User Acceptance Testing (UAT)) and managing system deployments

  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills for analysis, storytelling, and executive-ready deliverables

  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and drive corrective action across multi-disciplinary teams

  • Ability to present complex technical issues to finance leaders

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Advanced degree (MBA) or relevant professional certification

  • 10+ years of experience in finance domains, interdependencies, and how system outputs affect finance processes and controls

  • 10+ years of experience in documenting and optimizing finance processes for repeatability, compliance, and efficiency

  • Experience with finance planning tools and LRBP processes and familiarity with Program Increment (PI)

  • Experience configuring, integrating, and supporting SAP (S/4HANA/1SAP) finance modules and SAP testing/transport activities

  • Experience with finance controls, SOX compliance, and security requirements as they apply to finance systems and integrations

Summary pay range: $119,850 – $173,650
