Job Description Summary

This role will provide strategic oversight across sourcing and supplier collaboration, as well as financial accounting and analysis of the GE HealthCare Technology and Innovation Center (HTIC). The position partners closely with internal technical leaders and external suppliers to deliver high-quality goods and services at optimized total cost, while also ensuring strong financial oversight, compliance, and transparency. Serving as a trusted advisor, this role supports informed decision-making, operational excellence, and accountability across the organization.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary Sourcing contact, leading strategic sourcing and procurement activities to deliver the best total cost outcomes
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, GEHC sites, and Global Commodity Leaders to identify needs, develop sourcing strategies, and drive results
• Monitor and meet HTIC Sourcing performance metrics; support additional projects as assigned
• Processing & analyzing financial organization-level & project-level data and preparing monthly & quarterly accounting reports
• Manage invoice to receivables process for HTIC’s project portfolio, ensuring timely collection of outstanding receivables, and preparing accurate financial reports in compliance with internal & external customer requirements
• Support and train internal customers on HTIC Sourcing processes, systems, and performance metrics
• Ensure adherence to government-funded project requirements, including sourcing, financial controls, reporting, and audit readiness

Technical Skillset Requirements:

• Purchasing Systems: Proficiency with Coupa for purchasing and invoicing
• ERP / Reporting Systems: Proficiency with Oracle ERP for financial processing and reporting
• Excel & Advanced Analytical Tools: Advanced Excel use (pivot tables, macros, Smartsheet), familiarity with Power BI for visualization
• Financial Reporting Analysis: Preparation and interpretation of financial statements, monthly close packages, variance and balance sheet analysis
• Variance & Ad‑Hoc Analysis: Deep‑dive into variances, ad-hoc financial queries to identify risks/opportunities
• Government Funded R&D Experience: Significant experience supporting Research and Development activities within U.S. Government funded programs

• Analytical & Critical Thinking: Strong ability to interpret data, recognize trends, evaluate issues, and identify causes & solutioning
• Communication & Stakeholder Management: Clear presentation of analysis and findings to cross-functional teams and project teams, ability to influence others
• Process Improvement & Strategic Thinking: Identifying and implementing financial & operations process enhancements and strategic initiatives
• Problem Solving & Decision Making: Proactive, effective resolution of issues while balancing risks and rewards
