At Tampa Honda, part of Lithia & Driveway, we are committed to Growing Our Company and Growing Our People. We are seeking a high-performing Lead Finance & Insurance Manager / Finance Director to drive profitability, ensure compliance, and mentor a winning F&I team.
The Lead F&I Manager / Finance Director is responsible for overseeing all dealership finance operations, maximizing F&I revenue, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This leader works closely with the General Manager, Sales Managers, lenders, and manufacturer partners to drive performance and operational excellence.
Lead, mentor, and develop the F&I team to achieve and exceed production goals
Present and sell finance and insurance products (service contracts, GAP, tire & wheel, prepaid maintenance, appearance protection, etc.)
Structure, submit, and fund deals efficiently using approved dealer management systems (ADP/CDK or similar)
Build and maintain strong lender relationships to secure competitive financing options
Ensure all deals meet compliance standards (state DMV, lender, and federal regulations)
Monitor CIT (Contracts in Transit) and receivables to ensure timely funding
Maintain 100% compliance with Red Flags, OFAC, Safeguards Rule, and all dealership policies
Participate in Sales Meetings, Save-a-Deal, and Strategy Meetings
Support Sales Managers with deal structuring and customer engagement during peak hours
Drive store profitability through product penetration, reserve, and menu selling best practices
3+ years Automotive Finance & Insurance Manager experience required
Prior experience as a Lead F&I Manager, Finance Director, or Finance Manager preferred
Proven track record of high PVR, product penetration, and compliance excellence
Strong knowledge of automotive lender programs and credit structuring
Experience with CDK, ADP, RouteOne, Dealertrack, or similar platforms
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and team-focused
