Job Summary 

 

Entegris is seeking a creative, entrepreneurial marketer, with expertise in Asia-Pacific regional markets, who thrives on making an impact and will: 

  • Own and run high-impact events end to end 

  • Identify new sales and channel partners 

  • Bring fresh ideas to shape the future vision of Life Sciences 

 

The ideal candidate will have in-depth familiarity with the markets and applications of sterilizing filtration, viral filtration, and depth filtration across the Asia-Pacific region. This role is crucial in understanding customer pain points and key application areas, while also providing valuable insights to our management team through comprehensive analysis of industry and competitor dynamics. 

 

Reports to: Principal, Strategic Marketing Manager 

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

1. Market Research and Analysis 

  • Conduct thorough research on the current state and future trends of sterilizing filtration, viral filtration, and depth filtration markets in the Asia-Pacific region- Stay up to date on latest industry developments, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the filtration sector. 

  • Analyze market data, including market size, growth rates, and competitive landscapes, to identify opportunities and challenges. 

  • Competitive Intelligence-Monitor and analyze the activities of key competitors in the Asia-Pacific market, including product offerings, market strategies, and pricing models. Provide regular updates and in-depth analyses on competitor dynamics to inform strategic decision-making. 

 

2. Shape Strategy in a Start-Up-Like Team 

  • Collaborate with leadership and provide timely analyses to help define the Life Sciences growth and market entry strategies, product positioning and marketing plans that will contribute to long-term growth in APAC region. 

  • Bring entrepreneurial energy, testing new ideas, learning quickly, and scaling what works to position Entegris for future success. 

  • Customer insights analysis- identify and understand primary pain points in key application areas in APAC region, and share these insights with sales and product development teams. 

 

3. Event planning and execution  

  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific region. 

  • Take ownership of the planning, execution, and post-event strategy for trade shows, conferences, and customer-facing events. 

  • Partner cross-functionally to deliver high-impact experiences that generate new opportunities and deepen customer engagement. 

 

4. Contribute Fresh Ideas and Build Thought Leadership 

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to continuously bring new ideas for content, campaigns, and customer engagement. 

  • Translate global Life Science strategy to regional activities and channels,  

  • Measure the impact of marketing activities, sharing insights and recommendations to optimize future efforts. 

 

Requisite Criteria & Skills 

Experience:  

Over 8 years of experience in the filtration industry, with a focus on sterilizing filtration, viral filtration, and depth filtration. Technical, product, sales or marketing experience is a plus. 

 

Language Skills:  

Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication abilities. Additional proficiency in other Asian languages is a plus. 

 

Market Knowledge:  

Proven track record of understanding and navigating the Asia-Pacific market, including familiarity with regional business practices and cultural nuances. 

 

Analytical Skills:  

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in conducting market research and competitive analysis. 

 

Communication Skills:  

Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences. 

 

Travel:  

Willingness to travel within the Asia-Pacific region as required.
