The role & environment

For this function we require someone who is familiar with Facility Management. You are able to host high-end Multinational Companies as our guests, to ensure an exceptional experience aligned with our service standards. Together with our employees you will work in an international environment to service BMG Clients and Colleagues and make sure our old Amsterdam premises at the Herengracht are up to modern standards.

Experience with heritage building maintenance, permits, and construction compliance is highly valued. Knowledge of procurement, security, catering, and managing a Support Unit of approximately 4 employees has a preference. It is important to have a Boat license (or willingness to learn) for hosting canal tours with guests from all over the world.

Facilities perform a range of facilities management activities, critically reviewing and providing input while working within the established facilities plan to achieve pre-established outcomes. Financial Management and Control Track progress against budgets, and report variances to more senior colleagues.

Action Planning Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on developing appropriate plans or performing necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements. Costing and Budgeting Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on costing, budgeting and finance tasks.

  • Facility Management of BMG premises in the Centre of Amsterdam
  • Leading Support Services of 4 Employees
  • Guidance of outsourced Catering and Security services
  • Set-up Maintenance requirements
  • Procurement, steering suppliers
  • Budgeting and forecasting for maintenance
  • Develop and maintain multi-year housing plans, including dynamic cost forecasts and budget adherence for all premises
  • Member of SMT and BHV
