About your team

The Enterprise Process Team designs and governs the enterprise process architecture to ensure alignment with FIL’s strategic priorities and business objectives. Across global business areas, we drive process platforms, frameworks and standards that enable business teams with end-to-end visibility, drive process re-imagination and optimization, and embed orchestration and intelligent automation. Operating in a federated model, we balance strong central standards with domain agility to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant solutions.

Using industry leading process orchestration and automation platforms such as Camunda, Microsoft Power Platform, Total Agility, Blue Prism etc. our Enterprise Process Orchestration & Automation Team helps business orchestrate workflows and automate processes to simplify operations and enhance efficiency. Through our Enterprise Process Design Architecture team, we advance end-to-end process taxonomy, design thinking, service model design and Lean Six Sigma principles to achieve excellence. The Enterprise Process Product & Platform Support team underpins this capability by ensuring resilient platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and reliability engineering for automation at scale. Supported by strong governance and enablement programs, we build organizational capability and deliver sustainable value creation

About your role

The Lead Enterprise Process Orchestration & Automation Architect, in partnership with the Head of Enterprise Process, will:

• Define and govern the enterprise-wide orchestration and automation strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead the Enterprise Process Orchestration & Automation Design Authority, ensuring establishment and adherence to standards, patterns, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure seamless integration of business processes across systems and automate repetitive tasks for efficiency.
• Leverage industry-leading platforms such as Camunda, Microsoft Power Platform, Blue Prism, and others to deliver robust automation solutions.
• Drive process orchestration and automation platform strategy, standards, and reusable frameworks to enable consistent delivery.
• Run enablement programs to build capability across business units and foster adoption of orchestration and automation practices.
• Collaborate in a federated model, balancing central governance with domain agility to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant solutions.
• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of enterprise process lead developers, developers, and specialists—fostering growth, building capabilities, and driving high performance.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in process orchestration and automation practices including use of AI.

About You

• Expertise in process orchestration and automation platforms (Camunda or equivalent BPM engines) and workflow design principles.
• Hands-on experience with RPA tools: Microsoft Power Automate, Blue Prism etc.
• Familiarity with decisioning/rules engines (DMN, business rules externalization).
• Knowledge of integration patterns, APIs, event-driven architecture, and microservices.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and platform reliability engineering.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and run enablement programs.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
