Lead, Enterprise Franchise Sales

Chicago, IL; Tempe, AZ; United States - Remote Full Time

About the Team

DoorDash is looking for a Team Lead to join the Enterprise team that will help lead a team of Franchise Account Executives execute the strategy and project planning to grow our Drive business.

The DoorDash Enterprise team is responsible for the strategic vision, acquisition, and development of the largest restaurant groups in North America. Given the scale of our key partners, this role is a critical piece of DoorDash's growth and success in every market in which we operate.

About the Role

We're looking for an energetic, people-first leader who is ready to step into early people management while staying deeply hands-on. You'll guide a team of Franchise Account Executives — bringing structure, positivity, and operational clarity — while rolling up your sleeves alongside them every day. You will report into the Director, Enterprise Franchise Sales on our Enterprise Sales team.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Manage a team — Take ownership of a team of Franchise Account Executives and hold accountability for their success. You don't need a long management resume — but you've influenced peers, taken the lead, and are ready for the next step.
  • Bring the energy — You're the culture carrier. You show up with consistency and positivity, especially when the pace picks up or things get complicated.
  • Build efficiency — Identify process gaps and build simple, repeatable systems that make the team faster. You love turning ambiguity into clarity and chaos into momentum.
  • Influence — Work with our Drive, Content, S&O, and Post Sale teams to ensure merchants have the best possible experience when onboarding into DoorDash's services.
  • Strategize — Balance multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously — increasing revenue, improving team performance, and fully augmenting stores on Drive — without losing sight of the details.
  • Collaborate — Work with stakeholders across DoorDash to align company-wide resources and refine platform capabilities.

We're excited about you because…

  • You have 4+ years of experience in client success, account management, or sales.
  • You have early experience managing others, with a genuine desire to grow as a people leader.
  • You don't need to have led a large team before — but you've taken ownership, stepped up, and are ready for what's next.
  • You believe in servant-leadership; you dive into problems WITH your team and lead by example.
  • You bring contagious energy and optimism — your team feels it, and so do your clients.
  • You love working directly with clients; you create and maintain long-term relationships.
  • You are a problem solver at core, with a strong bias for action.
  • You are passionate about using analytics to build insights around problems and opportunities.
  • You're comfortable with a fast pace and several moving parts; we move quick and are defining an entire industry.
  • You know how to take very broad challenges or opportunities and turn them into actionable projects with clear milestones and goals, with minimal guidance.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in client success, account management, or sales
  • Early people management experience, with demonstrated readiness to grow into a formal leadership role
  • Proven success working in cross-functional teams to build creative solutions
  • Strong operational instincts — you spot inefficiencies and fix them
  • Expert communication and interpersonal skills
  • Use of AI to improve workflows and increase team productivity/efficiency

Nice To Haves

  • High growth or early-stage startup experience
  • Experience with marketplaces, operations, logistics or unit economics
  • Proficiency in one or more analytics & visualization tools
  • Willingness to get hands dirty and do whatever it takes to delight our clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
