Job Description
Main Responsibilities :
I. Oversee the day-to-day base maintenance operations, planning and engineering activities are carried out safely in accordance with ADE, CAAM and other regulatory bodies requirements, on time, and within allocated costs.
II. Ensure serviceability of operator/customer’s aircraft and ensure availability of manpower resources, spares, documentation, and tooling / equipment in providing efficient hangar check management.
III. To ensure an effective aircraft check management system, focused on hangar line control, meeting KPI in terms of manhours and TAT, and ensuring that all planned tasks by the Production Planning Department are well managed and well implemented as well as providing the necessary feedback.
Responsibilities :
● Ensure maintenance on the operator's aircraft is carried out and certified in full compliance with standard procedures and applicable airworthiness regulations.
● Ensure that his/her teams are aware of the latest technical advisories and handle all aircraft activities in accordance to standard procedures with full compliance to relevant airworthiness requirements.
● Review manpower allocation and job distribution set by the Lead Engineers are effective to ensure efficient operations and high productivity.
● Monitor aircraft checks/tasks required from the Lead Engineer handover to ensure tasks are accomplished as required and ensure proper hand over to the next shift Lead Engineers.
● Coordinate and liaise with operator/customer representative for effective aircraft check matters including notifications of any changes and/or additional tasks of aircraft if so required.
● To ensure all call-out job cards/check packages are carried out as requested by the operator/customer so that airworthiness of the aircraft is maintained.
● Assist ad-hoc requests from operators/customers for assistance if requested.
● Monitor all maintenance works performed as per check package, RI, work order and special request from operators/customers and initiate follow up actions if necessary.
● Provide day to day status report on work progress to all stake holders, highlighting any significant deviation from production schedule and take prompt and effective action as necessary including remedial actions, emergency planning to mitigate this risk.
● Oversee the administration and operational readiness of maintenance facilities in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
● Qualification : Licensed Aircraft Engineer specialized in the aircraft systems and/or avionics. Having a Degree in Aircraft Engineering/Aerospace Engineering or related field is a plus.
● Experience :
i) More than 5 years experience with In-depth knowledge of aviation MRO processes and quality control standards in accordance with Part 145 regulations.
ii) Minimum 5 years certifying experience working with new generation commercial aircraft, preferably on A320/A330 family.
iii) Minimum 3 years leadership/supervisory experience in maintenance/planning.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with various departments and regulatory bodies.
● Strong mathematical and analytical skills to evaluate data and optimize production schedules.
● Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with all levels of employees, fostering a collaborative work environment.
● Proficiency in using AMOS or similar EMS system & Airbus
● Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
