An Electrical Engineer learns the practical application of engineering principals on anesthesia machine, achieves expertise in Electrical Engineering, and investigates new techniques as part of a team. The Lead Electrical Engineer is responsible for leading the design electrical product/subsystem release solutions for anesthesia products; meeting marketing/customer requirements with reliability, manufacturing ability, maintenance and cost consideration.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
Designing digital/analog circuit, select electrical components, Schematics and PCB components layout, DFMEA (FBD, P-diagram), Components derating, debugging, and electrical system functional verification. Revise the design specification, verification plan with design control process and design documentations. Engaging in all phases of new product introduction and Installed base development, including concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support. Identifying and developing new opportunities to leverage Strategic Sourcing objectives and Common Technology initiatives in the modality product line. Enhance design reliability and production performance and delivery through supplier relationships.
