About the Role

Busy Bees at Woolloongabba East is seeking a confident and experienced Lead Educator to join our Hive.

Our 93-place service offers a supportive and collaborative environment where you will have the opportunity to lead your own room, mentor educators, and deliver high-quality early learning programs.

As a Lead Educator, you will play a key role in guiding your team and ensuring best practice in education and care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of educators within your room
  • Planning and implementing engaging, play-based learning programs aligned with the EYLF
  • Supporting children’s development, learning, and wellbeing
  • Building strong relationships with children, families, and the wider team
  • Ensuring compliance with the National Quality Standards and centre policies
  • Contributing to a positive and inclusive team culture

What You’ll Need

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher)
  • Current Working with Children Check (QLD Blue Card)
  • Proven experience in a Lead Educator or senior educator role
  • Strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standards
  • Leadership and mentoring capability
  • A passion for delivering high-quality early childhood education
