About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Digital Product Manager.
This role sits at the core of CIB’s AI transformation agenda, shaping the roadmap, governance, implementation, and scaling of next‑generation AI/GenAI capabilities across business lines. You will drive strategic assessments, integrate AI solutions into key workflows, ensure risk‑aligned delivery, and partner closely with senior leadership to execute high‑impact innovation initiatives.
In this role, you will:
Lead the development and execution of complex digital business plans, programs and initiatives which have impact across the enterprise with broad impact
Act as key participant in large-scale planning
Review and analyze complex digital strategy for product/functionality/experience area
Influence digital strategy for the business line requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
Make decisions in digital strategy for product/functionality/experience area requiring strong understanding of the business, policies, procedures and/or compliance requirements
Lead a broad team of digital professionals to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Potentially lead projects, teams or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications
Deep knowledge of Corporate & Investment Banking products, workflows, and asset classes.
Hands-on experience in AI/GenAI solution development and enterprise implementation.
Strong proficiency with modern AI stacks (LangChain, LangGraph, MCP), GenAI lifecycle processes, and model optimization techniques.
Experience with agentic AI, workflow automation, document intelligence, and intelligent routing.
Ability to operate across complex organizational structures with excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
Proven leadership experience, including team guidance, decision‑making, and strategic problem‑solving.Skilled in defining target‑state blueprints and actionable roadmaps.
Job Expectations
Ability to manage multiple high‑complexity initiatives with significant cross‑functional impact. Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills (JIRA, Confluence).Comfortable driving change and influencing senior stakeholders in a dynamic, evolving transformation environment.
AI & Innovation Delivery
Lead and execute AI/GenAI initiatives aligned with CIB strategic priorities, from idea validation to deployment. Integrate AI solutions across key CIB journeys—Client, Vendor, Market, Lending—to improve efficiency, decisioning, and servicing experiences.
Strategy, Governance & Execution
Conduct strategic reviews, evaluate performance, and solve complex business challenges with structured frameworks and creative problem‑solving. Define and implement processes, procedures, success metrics, and lifecycle standards for AI/ML and agentic workflows.Ensure compliance with CIB and enterprise methodologies, AI governance, AIRR controls, and risk frameworks.
Program & Stakeholder Leadership
Lead end‑to‑end program management for high‑visibility innovation initiatives, including scope definition, execution planning, resource management, and stakeholder alignment. Collaborate with cross‑functional leaders across Technology, Product, Business Execution, Risk, and Data to drive delivery and manage dependencies.Mentor and guide junior staff across Strategy & Execution and Innovation teams.
AI Architecture & Technical Understanding
Apply practical understanding of LLM workflows, chunking, RAG, hallucination mitigation, vectorization, and prompt engineering. Utilize modern AI tooling (LangChain, LangGraph, Model Context Protocol) to support scalable, context-aware AI solutions. Partner with technical teams on cloud, data, integration design, document intelligence, and agentic orchestration.
