Corporate Engagement – Postgraduate and Part-time Market
Analyse market trends in the local education landscape and develop effective student recruitment strategies.
Oversee and guide in planning, coordinating and logistics for corporate and outreach activities
To identify creative market engagement initiatives to increase postgraduate and part-time programme applications
To engage corporate companies for strategic tie-up to increase programme applications
To plan and leverage on community engagement to build awareness and brand name
Identify opportunities for collaboration and establish a framework to systematically engage partners
Leads Management
Develop strategies for leads generation
Build pipeline for leads conversion
To oversee that all leads obtained from local outreach activities and events are followed up on a timely basis
Student Recruitment Operations
To manage effectively the Student Recruitment Office’s customer service processes (e.g. walk-in, phone, e-mail and live chat enquiries)
To set up and maintain a mechanism to receive timely and accurate updates on programme information from other departments and the prompt delivery of marketing materials for distribution to prospective customers
Admissions
Implement the institute’s admissions processes in line with admission policies and local market regulations
Understand any local regulatory requirements and ensure these are implemented at each stage of the admissions process
Regular review on admission process to increase efficiency in the processing
Timely resolution to any issues flagged to ensure fast turnaround on offer outcome
Project Management
To strengthen the visibility, engagement, and recognition of the Student Ambassador (SA) Programme within SIM and externally
To lead the Student Ambassadors (SA) Programme, and ensure the team is well managed and trained to support recruitment activities and events effectively
To recruit and maintain a sizeable pool of SAs to support student recruitment and marketing strategies
To develop and maintain training materials, conduct trainings for SAs to ensure they are well equipped to support their assigned functions
To develop and implement outreach strategies to grow SA Alumni Network membership and actively engage alumni through regular communication, campaigns, and relationship-building initiatives
People Management
To manage resources and work through staff to achieve results with clearly defined business objectives, processes and performance standard
Lead and coach the staff to provide a high standard of service to customers and sales conversion
Establish key performance indicators to assess and regulate performance so that objectives are achieved
Responsible for selection, professional development and performance evaluation of staff and make recommendations on recognition and career development as required
Financial Management
Prepare the department budget, monitor the department’s budget and resource planning and take necessary measures to meet the budgets set for the department
Perform financial analysis and prepare the management reports as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Academic Education and Work Experience
· Bachelor degree with 5-8 years of relevant working experience, preferably in sales, marketing or business development
· Experienced in Sales/Business Management with evidence of achieving sales targets
· Good understanding of the higher education industry in Singapore
· Results-oriented, driven, self-motivated and analytical
· Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills - IT-savvy and proficient with MS office applications
· Flexibility and ability to deliver tasks/projects within timelines
· Experienced in formulating strategies, budget and strategic planning
