Job Description:

Position Summary

The Lead, Demand Forecasting & Analytics drives commercial financial performance, forecasting, and insight across BW Packaging’s commercial organization. Aligned to defined commercial domains such as demand forecasting, deal economics, pricing, incentives, or revenue-to-cash execution, the Lead serves as the primary business partner for assigned scope, bringing disciplined structure and insight that strengthens clarity, decision-making, and commercial execution.

The Lead drives forecasting, reporting, and analysis to strengthen the connection between commercial activity, financial expectations, and operational realities. Close partnership with Sales, Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, Operations Finance, and Shared Services enables translation of complex commercial signals into actionable insight that improves forecast credibility, margin performance, and cash realization.

Within commercial operations, the Lead serves as a disciplined, analytical voice that brings clarity and structure to complex commercial situations, frames options and expected outcomes, and helps leaders move forward with confidence. The Lead is valued for partnership, practical insight and the ability to drive clear next steps that improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Forecasting, Analysis & Reporting

  • Lead commercial forecasting, performance analysis, and reporting for assigned commercial domains.

  • Interpret demand, deal, pricing, and revenue results, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities that require leadership attention.

  • Translate commercial activity into clear financial implications to support decisions and reinforce accountability.

  • Deliver concise, decision-oriented insights that inform commercial and cross-functional business reviews.

Commercial Performance Cadence & Execution

  • Own and operate a consistent commercial performance cadence for forecasting, performance review, and issue resolution within assigned scope.

  • Establish clarity of assumptions, integrity of inputs, and disciplined follow-through on actions.

  • Continuously strengthen commercial finance processes, tools, and reporting to improve execution and decision quality.

Commercial Partnership & Business Enablement

  • Serve as the primary finance lead for assigned commercial domains, enabling leaders to understand commercial drivers, financial outcomes, and available decision paths.

  • Surface how commercial behaviors, assumptions, and execution choices influence forecast credibility, margin performance, and downstream delivery.

  • Provide informed guidance on margin performance, pricing effectiveness, forecast credibility, and revenue realization.

  • Design and maintain dashboards, tools, and KPIs that sharpen visibility and improve decision quality.

  • Engage actively in commercial forums, providing insight that helps leaders evaluate trade-offs and prioritize actions that improve results.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Sales Operations, Operations Finance, Supply Chain, Pricing, and Shared Services to reinforce alignment and consistency.

  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that improve forecasting credibility, margin discipline, and execution effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, Sales Operations, Demand Planning, or related analytical roles

  • Demonstrated ability to own complex analytical work and translate insight into clear recommendations

  • Strong understanding of commercial drivers, pricing and margin dynamics, and revenue realization

  • Track record of improving forecasting accuracy, decision support, and execution discipline

  • ERP, CRM, and reporting-system proficiency, with advanced Excel and analytical modeling skills

  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage and influence commercial and cross-functional leaders

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field, or international equivalent

  • Flexibility to take on evolving responsibilities in response to business needs
