NN Group is accelerating toward an AI‑driven, fully digital, data‑centric future—and we’re looking for a Group Data Quality Officer to set the standard. In our new Data Management Office, you’ll define and drive enterprise‑wide data quality policies and standards, own the tooling strategy, and translate results into clear insights that unlock better decisions across the business.
You’ll lead the data quality community. You work closely with Operations, Finance, IT, and Data Engineering to ensure data is recorded correctly and unambiguously. From building crisp dashboards to embedding governance and fostering a culture of data quality, you’ll make trusted data the foundation for performance, compliance, and AI adoption at scale.
What you are going to do
As Group Data Quality Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping NN Group’s data-driven future. You will define and implement data quality policies and standards that ensure our data is accurate, reliable, and fit for purpose. Your work will directly support strategic initiatives such as AI adoption and digital transformation, making trusted data the foundation for smarter decisions across the organization.
In this role, you’ll lead and drive the data quality community. You collaborate with stakeholders, such as data quality stewards from other business units, across Operations, Finance, IT, and Data Engineering. You will translate our Data Quality Policy into actionable rules and processes, ensuring that data quality is embedded in dashboards, analytics, and AI models. By connecting insights to business units and promoting a culture of data quality, you will help NN Group unlock the full potential of its data assets.
Your impact will be felt across the organization as you drive improvements in data governance, select and manage the right tools, and monitor results to continuously raise the bar. This is a strategic role with hands-on responsibilities—perfect for someone who combines vision with execution.
Your key responsibilities
Define and implement data quality policies and standards that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements
Own the strategy for data quality tooling, including selection, integration, and optimization of tools across the enterprise
Translate data quality insights into actionable improvements, connecting results to business units and promoting data-driven decision-making
Monitor and report on data quality metrics, providing clear insights to stakeholders and driving continuous improvement
Collaborate with internal teams and other Data Quality Officers to ensure a cohesive, organization-wide approach to data quality management

Proven experience in data quality management, data governance, or a related field within complex organizations
Strong understanding of data quality frameworks, tools, and standards, with the ability to translate policies into actionable practices
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of influencing at all levels
Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to interpret data quality metrics and drive improvements
Leadership skills, including experience managing a small team and fostering collaboration across departments
Who you will work with
You will join the newly established Data Management Office, a strategic team at the heart of NN Group’s data transformation. This department is responsible for setting the standards for data governance and quality across the organization, ensuring that data becomes a trusted asset for decision-making and innovation.
In this role, you will lead a small, specialized team of two Data Stewards and one Data Quality Consultant, combining deep expertise with strong business insight. Beyond your immediate team, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders in Operations, Finance, IT, and Data Engineering, as well as functional data stewards embedded in various business units. Together, you will create a culture where data quality is not just a compliance requirement but a driver of performance and AI adoption.
You will also work with senior leadership, including the Chief Data Officer, to align data quality initiatives with NN Group’s broader digital and AI strategy. This means your impact will be visible at every level of the organization—from operational teams to executive decision-makers.
