The Lead Data Engineer – Application Health designs and delivers scalable, cloud‑native data solutions that enable enterprise‑wide visibility into application health, risk, and optimization. This role powers the Application Health scorecard by transforming diverse data into actionable insights that reduce technical debt, strengthen compliance, and improve reliability and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain data architectures and pipelines supporting Application Health reporting and analytics.
Ingest and integrate data from multiple internal and external sources using modern cloud‑native technologies.
Develop analytics, dashboards, and scorecards across architecture, data quality, security, engineering standards, reliability, and technology stack alignment.
Leverage big data and AI/ML‑enabled solutions to cleanse, transform, and enrich enterprise data.
Provide technical leadership, set engineering standards, review designs, and mentor team members.
Partner with Technology Stewardship, Tech Strategy, EIP, CIO Segment Engineering, and application owners to align solutions with enterprise priorities.
Ensure data solutions comply with governance, security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
Evaluate emerging technologies to improve scalability, performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and relevant years of experience in lieu of degree requirement.
5+ years' experience in data engineering within large‑scale enterprise environments.
years' experience with Databricks
5+ years' experience and strong knowledge in cloud platforms and data technologies (data lakes, data warehouses, streaming).
Proven experience building complex data pipelines and integration frameworks.
Hands‑on experience with big data, analytics platforms, and data modeling.
Exposure to AI/ML‑driven analytics preferred.
Ability to lead complex technical initiatives and translate data insights into business outcomes.
