DUTIES: Perform back-end development for the AT&T Identity Lifecycle Management (ILM) Platform, supporting enterprise security initiatives. This role is critical to enhancing data integrity, compliance, and security across AT&T’s cyber infrastructure. Responsibilities include ideation, testing, proof-of-concept development, and technical support for cybersecurity projects. Analyze complex security issues and engineer backend solutions to mitigate risk. Evaluate and recommend hardware/software solutions tailored to AT&T’s cybersecurity and managed services needs. Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems, APIs, and services. Ensure seamless integration with internal and external systems while implementing robust security measures. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to align backend systems with advanced protection protocols. Develop and enforce policies to prevent network intrusions, malware, and vulnerabilities. Apply secure coding practices and implement measures to block malicious code and harden backend applications. Conduct risk assessments and devise strategies to address potential system weaknesses. Engage in forward-looking research and strategic planning to anticipate and counter emerging cyber threats. Contribute to areas such as cyber incident response, product testing, risk analysis, vulnerability detection, digital forensics, software assurance, IoT security, and policy development. Participate in cross-functional collaboration with cybersecurity, network engineering, and managed services teams. Support proof-of-concept testing for new technologies and ensure backend systems meet performance, scalability, and security standards. Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies. Work with QA teams to identify and resolve issues during development. Document technical designs, processes, and configurations for audits and future reference. Support incident response efforts by providing backend expertise. Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement necessary fixes. Ensure backend systems are resilient against attacks and continuously monitor performance for optimization. Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance backend development practices and strengthen AT&T’s cybersecurity posture. Utilize Identity and Access Management (IAM). Use Agile/Scrum Methodology. Utilize Java (11, 17, 21), Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs for building scalable and secure backend systems. Design and implement REST APIs, ensuring security and performance. Use LDAP and integrating IAM solutions. Utilize Azure Cloud for deploying and managing services. Employ JUnit and other testing frameworks for validation. Use secure coding practices, vulnerability mitigation, and system hardening.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation utilizing Identity and Access Management (IAM); using Agile/Scrum Methodology; utilizing Java (11, 17, 21), Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs for building scalable and secure backend systems; designing and implementing REST APIs, ensuring security and performance; using LDAP and integrating IAM solutions; utilizing Azure Cloud for deploying and managing services; employing testing frameworks (JUnit) for validation; and using secure coding practices, vulnerability mitigation, and system hardening.
