About the Team

 

Our Cyber Culture & Awareness team drives positive cybersecurity behaviours across the Reserve Bank of Australia. Reporting to the Manager of Cyber Culture & Awareness within the Information Technology Department, this role will lead and enhance internal awareness campaigns and cyber communications across the RBA.

 

You’ll join a small, collaborative, and supportive team where everyone contributes ideas and drives outcomes.

 

About the Role

 

As Lead Cyber Culture & Awareness Analyst, you will take ownership of internal communications and engagement initiatives that empower our people to protect Australia’s critical infrastructure. You’ll design and deliver strategic campaigns, change management activities, and creative content that resonate with diverse audiences.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading internal awareness campaigns and communications strategies.
  • Translating complex cybersecurity concepts into clear, engaging messages.
  • Driving organisational change through targeted communications and stakeholder engagement.
  • Developing a Cyber Champions Program and delivering internal events that inspire participation.

 

About You

  • Proven experience in internal communications, organisational change management, or running internal campaigns.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distil complex cybersecurity concepts for diverse audiences
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Project management experience delivering initiatives that engage and drive change.
  • A creative approach to designing interactive materials (presentations, videos, workshops, quizzes, etc.).
  • An outcome-oriented mindset to measure impact and continuously improve.
  • Passion for cybersecurity and a willingness to learn.
  • Previous experience in a cybersecurity-related position is preferred.
