THE JOB:

At TAP, every shift feels like game day. We are looking for a skilled Lead Cook who’s ready to bring energy, precision, and passion to the kitchen. In this role, you’ll own your stations, whether it’s grill, sauté, or apps, keeping the line moving fast and the quality even higher. You’ll work side-by-side with a tight-knit team, communicating with chefs and front-of-house to deliver food that turns first-time guests into regulars. We’re looking for someone who thrives under pressure, takes pride in every plate, and knows that great food is what fuels unforgettable experiences. THE STARTING RATE: $21.40 an hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Communicate with management, chef and service staff in order to fulfill and address any issue or needs requested by guests and employees.

  • Notify Room Chef or Sous Chef of problems that arise and how they have been corrected.

  • Expedite and coordinate service and produce according to par levels.

  • Responsible for normal operation of stations. Able to work sauté, sauce, grill, cold seafood, pastry and appetizer station.

  • Work as a team, assist all guest's needs and inquiries.

  • Maintain solid menu knowledge and attention to detail; follow recipe accordingly.

  • Use proper food handling techniques, follow health & safety standards.

  • Assist Master Cook, Cook, Pantry and Kitchen workers in execution of service.

  • Maintain solid knowledge, understanding and preparation of base sauces, stocks and soups.


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

  • One year of cooking experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment

  • Able to work a varied shift to include weekends and holidays
