LEAD CONTRACT SPECIALIST

Salary Range: $143913 - $197200 Per Year

Major Duties:

• You will lead a team, ensuring effective communication of project goals, deadlines, and responsibilities.
• You will develop, present, and defend procurement policies and contract actions to senior officials.
• You will plan, direct, and coordinate contractual and procurement policy actions involved in supporting sophisticated and technologically advanced systems acquisition programs.
• You will coach and mentor team members, fostering problem-solving techniques and improving team dynamics.
• You will monitor and report on the status and progress of work, ensuring your team meets project milestones and quality standards, adjusting priorities as needed.
• You will analyze, evaluate, and review proposed and on-going procurements and cost pricing data.
• You will assess your team's performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for growth.

Qualifications: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing expert advice on procurement policies and strategies; analyzing, reviewing, and exercising unlimited contractual authority for contract actions and long-term procurements for the acquisition of major systems; evaluating cost and pricing strategies and data; and leading a team to achieve mission-critical objectives efficiently.
