Implement SPX, Lean Methodologies, Digitization, Industry 4.0
- Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s continuous improvement strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams in the identification, prioritization, and execution of process improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other methodologies.
- Conduct value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and process diagnostics to identify inefficiencies and recommend actionable solutions.
- Design and implement performance metrics and dashboards to monitor the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and ensure accountability.
- Organize and lead Kaizen events, workshops, and rapid improvement sessions to drive engagement and deliver measurable results.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop long-term strategic plans and annual transformation plans that drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement.
- Research and recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and quality.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and industry experts to benchmark best practices and incorporate innovative solutions.
- Monitor and report on the progress of improvement initiatives, providing regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Deploy Core standards Like; LSW, 5S, GEMBA, 3C, Tier Meetings
- Lead the maturity assessment of the organization’s Lean Enterprise system and coordinate gap closure planning.
- Actively participate in corporate continuous improvement forums, sharing best practices and supporting other sites or departments as needed.
- Conduct PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis), CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action), and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for product and process failures.
Improve operational efficiency
- Eliminate waste in operations
- Achieve Year over year Operational productivity through lean projects
- Support & Generate New Digitization ideas
- Support & execute low-cost automation projects
Production Research and Reporting
- Design and conduct research programs to evaluate manufacturing processes.
- Calculate production, labor, and material costs; review schedules; estimate future requirements.
Compliance and Safety
- Maintain strict compliance with plant EH&S (Environment, Health & Safety) goals and objectives.
- Cooperate with the EHS Manager and Team to uphold safety standards.
Project and Fixture Management
- Update and maintain fixture history cards for assigned lines.
- Ensure fixture availability and close actions for line requirements related to fixtures and spare parts.
- Identify and implement SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Dies) and Lean projects.
- Conduct fixture trials with Production and QA, releasing Cp, Cpk reports.
- Implement fixture-related kaizen initiatives for PQSDCM (Productivity, Quality, Safety, Delivery, Cost, Morale) benefits.
Team Collaboration and Development
- Train and guide technicians on Lean projects.
- Collaborate with other engineers, contractors, and suppliers to maximize quality and reduce costs.
- Support NPD (New Product Development) fixture development and trials.
Professional Development
- Attend educational workshops and review professional publications.
- Establish personal networks and participate in professional societies.
