The Markets division within Enterprise Solutions’ Professional Services business empowers a wide range of private equity and venture capital firms to take charge of their data and enhance internal analytics and insights. From portfolio analytics and valuations to investor reporting and real-time access to operating metrics for specific assets, this team leads the way in the FinTech industry.

The Markets iLEVEL Implementation Team is seeking a dynamic individual who is committed to delivering world-class software solutions to demanding, high-profile private equity clients and brings strong experience in both People and Product Management. Our cloud-based portfolio monitoring solution streamlines data collection, establishes a single source of truth, and enables advanced portfolio analytics and reporting for private equity clients. You will oversee the end-to-end implementation of our industry-leading portfolio management solution, while also managing a team of Associates and Consultants. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Project Managers and Directors across our global teams to ensure the successful onboarding of Private Equity, Credit, LP, GP, and Venture Capital clients onto the iLEVEL platform, driving both client satisfaction and operational excellence.

Your Role

You will be a key member of the ES- Professional Services Markets’ Lead Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough product analysis to determine specific requirements and use cases for Private Equity enterprise software clients.
  • Collaborate effectively with various business functions within Professional Services to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Work closely with internal team members to proactively identify, escalate, and resolve process-related risks.
  • Lead and manage deployment teams for APAC, US, and EMEA clients, offering guidance and expertise to implement, customise, and enhance Portfolio Monitoring and Reporting services tailored for Private Equity clients.
  • Independently manage multiple implementation projects, adhering to best practices for system setup and utilisation.
  • Possess hands-on experience in preparing financial reports, designing templates, and configuring client portals to meet the requirements of Private Equity and Venture Capital clients.
  • Efficiently balance and oversee several client implementations simultaneously, maintaining clear accountability to all stakeholders.
  • Collaborate regularly with teams in India, as well as with global Project Managers and Leads, to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Demonstrate agility in problem-solving and provide prompt solutions to both internal teams and clients regarding product features and functions.
  • Maintain continuous collaboration and communication with Teams and Team Leads, and deliver weekly internal updates to the Implementations Director or Practice Head.

Required Qualifications

  • Educational Background: MBA in Finance or Business Analytics is mandatory.
  • Industry Experience: Minimum 10-12 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, with at least 3 years in a team management or leadership role.
  • Mentoring Skills: Demonstrated experience in mentoring and coaching teams.
  • Professional Certifications: Additional credentials such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost and Management Accountant (CMA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Financial Risk Manager (FRM) are considered a plus.
  • Technology and Consulting Experience: At least 5 years of experience in software, financial services vendor, or technology/management consulting project management is desirable.
  • Software Knowledge: Familiarity with S&P MI’s proprietary software (such as QVAL, iLEVEL, WSO, or EDM) is an added advantage.
  • Domain Expertise: Proven experience in the Private Capital Market sector is required.
  • Financial Acumen: In-depth understanding of financial reporting and operating statement analysis.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across functions and with diverse personalities.
  • Intellectual Curiosity: Demonstrates inquisitiveness and a strong desire to learn and understand new concepts.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in leading discussions and presentations involving teams, clients, and global stakeholders.
  • Critical Thinking: Ability to identify, analyse, and frame key risk and business issues, providing relevant context.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong skills in managing and influencing stakeholders at various levels.
  • Judgement and Risk Management: Sound judgement and a pragmatic approach to risk and business controls, with the capability to drive well-balanced decisions.
  • Lean/Agile Mindset: Demonstrates a strong inclination towards lean and agile working methodologies.
