As our senior configuration specialist and consultant, you will set direction while staying hands-on, shaping the roadmap for RIM and QMS and delivering high-quality releases. You will partner with global stakeholders and supplier teams to remove friction, automate where it matters and drive consistent standards across multiple Vault estates. Accountabilities

  • Technical Leadership and Consulting: Serve as a senior configuration specialist and Veeva Vault expert for partners across regions and business areas, advising on best practices and ensuring alignment to strategy.

  • Requirements and Design Stewardship: Lead requirement gathering, feasibility checks and design reviews with business and IT stakeholders as part of a scrum team; act as a gatekeeper for design alignment and standards.

  • Release Delivery Excellence: Drive Design, Build, Test and Deploy activities for regular planned releases and key platform initiatives, meeting commitments on quality, timelines and compliance.

  • Vault Extension Engineering: Design and build Veeva Vault extensions to support custom business flows that address real pain points and improve throughput.

  • Automation and Problem Solving: Identify and solve business pain points with a focus on automation opportunities that reduce manual effort and error.

  • RIM and QMS Roadmap Leadership: Own and advance the delivery roadmap for RIM and QMS, working closely with supplier teams and business governance groups.

  • Security and Controls: Ensure all system security and control procedures are implemented, maintained and continuously improved.

  • Integration Simplification: Generate and implement ideas to simplify and streamline the integration landscape in line with established integration designs and patterns.

  • Documentation Ownership: Maintain clear, current configuration specification documentation for both functional and integration configurations to enable repeatability and audit readiness.

  • Collaboration with Veeva: Work with Veeva’s technical team on new requirements, API-related issues, security setup and functional configuration to keep the platform stable and evolving.

  • Cross-Enterprise Collaboration: Collaborate across other Vault estates (e.g., Clinical, Quality), internal support teams and suppliers to drive reuse, consistency and shared learning.

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Demonstrated experience as a senior configuration specialist and Veeva Vault expert supporting RIM and QMS.

  • Proven leadership of business requirement gathering, feasibility checks and design reviews with business and IT stakeholders in a scrum team.

  • Hands-on delivery experience across Design, Build, Test and Deploy phases for planned releases and platform initiatives.

  • Expertise in designing and building Veeva Vault extensions to accommodate custom business flows.

  • Track record of solving business pain points with a focus on automation opportunities.

  • Experience leading delivery roadmaps for RIM and QMS in collaboration with supplier teams and business governance.

  • Strong knowledge of system security and control procedures with practical implementation experience.

  • Experience simplifying and streamlining integration landscapes in alignment with integration design and patterns.

  • Ownership of configuration specification documentation for both functional and integration configuration.

  • Direct engagement with Veeva technical teams on API topics, security setup and functional configuration.

  • Ability to act as a gatekeeper for design alignment and standards.

  • Effective collaboration across multiple Vault estates and supplier ecosystems.

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Experience across multiple Veeva Vault applications (e.g., Clinical, Quality) to drive reuse and consistency.

  • Familiarity with life sciences regulatory and quality processes supporting RIM and QMS.

  • Leadership in agile delivery practices, including backlog prioritization and release planning.

  • Experience with integration patterns and API-centric architectures in complex enterprises.

  • Evidence of driving automation within validated, compliance-focused environments.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management across regions and functions.
