Job Title: Lead Client Care Associate -Veterinary Receptionist

Salary: £12.88 per hour (£18,753.28 per annum)

Location: Village Vet, Longstanton, Cottenham

Job Type: Permanent , Part-time

Hours: 28 hours per week

We are looking for an inspirational lead for our Longstanton and Cottenham front of house teams

The Lead CCA will help to develop and line-manage the front-of-house team at our Longstanton and Cottenham branches, improve internal processes and drive growth in the community, leading by example a small team of dedicated CCAs

Your role and responsibilities

  • Manage and deal with appointment bookings in a professional and efficient manner

  • Answer and make calls to veterinary practices, insurance companies and clients with a high level of customer service

  • Support the business with a range of administrative duties

  • Show awareness of financial control within the practice and follow up with clients for outstanding payments

  • Daily management of the practice diary to ensure all patients are booked in efficiently and any gaps can be proactively filled

  • Ensure that a high standard of client care is maintained at all times within the team

  • Work closely with your veterinary team and neighbouring branches

  • Maintain accurate stock rotation/replenishment, thereby avoiding products going out of date.

  • Assist with the management of the pharmacy, including unpacking orders, stock rotation and environmental temperatures

  • Serving customers and taking payments, advising customers on products and services

  • Banking duties


Your leadership role and responsibilities 

  • Be responsible for the management of the branch and the client care team.

  • Strong leadership and exceptional communication skills.

  • Promote a conducive and supportive working environment.

  • responsible for the day-to-day running of the branch including adherence to statutory checks, administration and stock management

  • Collaboration with all of the practice teams, including clinicians and clinical support staff, is essential to succeed in this position.

  • Build relationships with the clients, demonstrate empathy and facilitate in delivering an excellent level of service at every touchpoint.

  • Be a presence within reception, lead by example by engaging with clients and their pets.

  • Ensure all customer complaints are dealt with swiftly, efficiently and by the appropriate person.

  • work closely with the Senior leadership team to ensure that practice development changes are communicated and implemented
