    Oracle EBS Lead
    Location: Primarily Remote, based in Barueri (Alphaville)

    Role Purpose

    Reporting to the TechHub Manager, you will be the regional IT SME for Oracle EBS.  
     

    In this role you will: lead the intake, shaping, and delivery oversight of Oracle E‑Business Suite (EBS) demand for LATAM, with primary focus on Supply Chain (SCM). Translate regional functional needs into best practice. feasible EBS solutions (configuration vs. development), orchestrate outsourced development work, and drive performance of the Managed Service Provider (MSP) to contract SLAs with a continuous service improvement mindset.


    You will be part of the Global Technology organization and will work in a matrix environment aligned with technology products and service owners.  .

    Daily Activities

    Demand & Solutioning – Oracle EBS Supply Chain (40%)

    • Working with Solution teams, internal business stakeholder, clients and 3rd party IT and business supplies i.e. 3PL and Couriers.
    • Run structured demand intake with LATAM business stakeholders (e.g., Inventory, Logistics, Procurement Order Management) to capture clear, testable functional requirements.
    • Perform solution triage to determine configuration vs. custom development (CEMLI), documenting rationale, impacts, and regression considerations; ensure adherence to Assurant change and control requirements for EBS.  
    • Produce/oversee functional designs, acceptance criteria, and traceability from business requirement → configuration/development → test → deploy → hyper care.
    • Understand business requirements and evaluate core and non-core configuration products in Oracle EBS.                               
    • Responsible for facilitating interventions that favor the transfer of information and clarification of doubts.
    • Interact and analyze the product description of our final clients with the intention of making a correct initial analysis of the requirements.

    Delivery Governance – Outsourced Development (30%)

    • Plan and manage work packages for the outsourced development partner: backlog, estimations, sprint goals/milestones, and acceptance.

    • Enforce engineering hygiene (coding standards, peer review, unit tests), and ensure non‑functional needs (performance, reliability, supportability) are captured early. Coordinate SIT/UAT; ensure deployment plans align to EBS downtime windows, controls, and post‑release validation steps.

    • Maintain strong governance around change, release, and deployment processes, ensuring stability in highly regulated financial environments Participate in multiple projects simultaneously.                                     

    • Conduct monitoring meetings for assigned projects.

    Run & Vendor Management – MSP (Operations & CSI) (20%)

    • Act as primary IT relationship owner for the EBS MSP across LATAM; hold the MSP accountable to contractual SLAs, monthly reporting, and service improvement.

    • Proactively identify and implement Continuous Service Improvements (CSI): stability, incident reduction, alerting/observability, and release cadence optimization.

    • Ensure adherence to EBS production controls, including concurrent job monitoring, incident handling in ServiceNow.
       

    Compliance, Risk and Control (10%)

    • Embed control requirements in designs and changes (access, PAR dependencies, SoD, change approvals).

    • Maintain audit‑ready artefacts for internal/external reviews. Ensure that Oracle usage is inline with Oracle entitlements.
       

    Basic Qualifications

    • Oracle EBS (R12.x) hands‑on functional expertise in Supply Chain (e.g., Inventory, WMS/MSCA, Purchasing/iProc, Order Management, BOM/WIP) with proven ability to decide config vs. customization and guide delivery.

    • Demonstrated leadership managing outsourced development teams (near/offsore) and MSPs, including SLA governance, service credits, and CSI programs.

    • Solid understanding of production control processes for EBS (concurrent jobs, incident workflows, ServiceNow integration).

    • Experience coordinating cross‑functional testing and releases for EBS upgrades or large deployments.

    • Strong stakeholder management across business (SCM/Operations/Finance) and IT towers.
       

    Core Competencies

    • Vendor/Contract Management: interpret SOW/MSA; enforce SLAs and improvement plans.

    • Risk & Controls Mindset: design‑time controls, deployment discipline, and audit‑readiness for EBS.

    • Communication: concise executive updates; facilitation across business/IT; bilingual a plus.
       

    Education & Certifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in IT/Engineering/Business (or equivalent experience).

    • Desirable: Oracle E‑Business Suite Certifications (SCM/Financials), ITIL Foundation, Agile (Scrum/PSM), or PMP/Prince2.

    • Deep understanding of ITIL best practices, operational frameworks, and service management tooling.

    • Experience of working in insurance/mortgage industry will be a differential

    • Experience of working in large multi-national organisation desired

    • Experience of software delivery to both on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments

    • Experience of regulatory compliance, risk frameworks, audit standards, SOC2, ITGC, ISO27001, ISO22301, PCI Experience of Privacy, GDPR etc within the context of IT solution and operations.
