Billing Technology

Billing is a strategic platform that supports all the four business lines in Corporate Bank – these are Cash Management, Security Services, Trust & Agency Services and Trade finance & lending businesses. The Billing Technology tribe is 75+ member team helping global business divisions of Corporate Bank in Americas, EMEA and APAC countries realize revenues from our clients for the services they are using from our bank. Revenue generation & mitigating revenue leakage is at the heart of the banks profitability metrics making the Billing application strategically important for our business, technology and operations stakeholders. You would understand the banks product lines, pricing mechanisms and tax calculation complexities. You would work with high value payments, instant payments, SWIFT and SEPA messages, funds and deal related data to support use cases that are real time, near real time or scheduled. You would engineer and design solutions that are critical and run 24x7 real-time to process 1.5K transactions within 200 milliseconds or work on near-real time use cases processing 250K transactions within 30 mins to processing large size batches of 1.5 million transactions a day to generate 100K invoices that helps Deutsche Bank realize annual revenues worth EUR 100 million.

What You’ll Do – You would drive & contribute to the technology strategy for the Corporate Bank, simplifying the technology stack with cutting edge modern technologies like Google cloud suite and Java micro-services. You would work with architects & product managers to solve problems with agile methodologies to release features every sprint and deliver high quality software engineering solutions.

Your key responsibilities

  • Analyze usage and behavioral data from legacy billing systems to identify patterns, gaps, and critical workflows.
  • Translate insights into clear, structured functional and non‑functional requirements, including user journeys and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Country PMs, Engineering, QA, and UX to ensure requirements are technically sound, testable, and well‑prioritized.
  • Build and maintain a structured, prioritized backlog and contribute to roadmap definition, release planning, and milestone tracking.
  • Establish and promote best practices in requirements analysis, including traceability, impact assessment, and systematic refinement.
  • Act as a key interface between business and technology to ensure alignment, transparency, and successful platform evolution.

Your skills and experiences

  • Several years of experience as a Senior or Lead Business Analyst in complex technology or transformation programs.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data‑driven evaluations (usage metrics, logs, behavioral patterns).
  • Hands‑on expertise translating analytical findings into clear, structured functional and non‑functional requirements.
  • Deep understanding of SDLC processes and experience introducing structured analysis and documentation practices.
  • Proven collaboration with cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Product, QA, UX) in agile environments.
  • Experience in regulated, transaction‑heavy domains (e.g., financial services) including end‑to‑end flow validation, regulatory requirements, and client migration scenarios.
