Position Summary:
Provides support to our Beverage Server and Bartender Teams. Keeping bars stocked with supplies; including beer, wine, spirits, glassware, and paper products in accordance with departmental procedures to ensure our teams can provide world class guest service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promotes superior customer service.
- Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.
- Provides coaching and training to Beverage Servers.
- Serves as a liaison between Beverage Servers and management team.
- Uses point of sale terminal and completes other cashiering functions.
- Consistently applies knowledge of state liquor laws including proper identification procedures, monitoring levels of intoxication, intervention strategies, refusal of service, and shutoff procedures.
- Responsible for the handling all payment methods.
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
- One year of experience serving in a high-volume food and beverage setting.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
- A successful candidate must be over 21 years of age.
- Must be dependable, flexible, and available to work any shift, especially nights and weekends.
- This is a standing position, and includes bending and lifting, you must be able to do this job effectively for an 8-hour shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 49 lbs.
- Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
- Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of experience Supervising in a high-volume food and beverage setting.
